School transportation management
School transportation management before a route is published.
Tardy is school transportation for districts. The transportation office works from a dispatcher board, reviews a route before it is published, and can name a substitute on a run that already has a bus. Driver location for that vehicle is part of the same office workflow. This is not a finished physical driver-to-parent product.
The office workflow that exists
Dispatch sees runs, including a location when one is on file and a label when the update is stale or missing. A route change can be reviewed by the affected school and then published by the district. A substitute is a named person on a run that already has a bus, not a new bus invented for the day. Those are the transportation-management pieces a practice account can walk through.
The parent side is narrower. A parent view can show a recent vehicle location and an estimate for one assigned stop when that location is on file. That view is described on the parent bus location page. It is not a guarantee the child boarded, and it is not another student’s stop.
What stays out of this description
This page does not state a price. Classroom confirmation is planned and is not delivered. Text alerts are not sent. A practice account does not make a district operational and does not grant live district activation. Billing is not live.
